While some people are feeling compassion for the grieving dad who forgot his twins in the car, others are shockingly certain that no decent person would ever do this.
It’s hard to agree or disagree without knowing the father and situation. If it was callous and indifferent disregard, I’d accept that prosecution is in order. If it was an honest mistake or something beyond his control, perhaps not. However, I’m not sure how this could be an “honest mistake.” It’s pretty widely known by now (unless you live under a rock) that hot cars are dangerous to kids and animals.

The way parents are being pushed in so many (vain) directions, by a very busy-body society, it’s amazing more parents aren’t forgetting where their little children are.
