A mom is at her wit’s end when her son’s super-brief, in-class, stand-next-to-your-desk “movement breaks” leave him more wound up and frustrated than ever — because they’re so short. Read about why these breaks might actually be counterproductive for antsy kids by clicking here!

I tried to leave a comment on letgrow but discus told me I had an account and then wouldn’t let me sign in. anyway this is the stupidest thing I have heard in a long time. they say it’s to supplement recess but just wait it will become the only recess these kids get. all I could think of was the picture od Japanese workers lining up to do exercises on work breaks. kids did not evolve to sit at a desk 6 to 8 hours a day, they were made to run play and explore.
